Teacher — £149 setup + £29/month
One teacher and up to 30 active students. Your logo and colours on a standard portal, registration, classes, parent and student access, attendance, homework and points. One clean spreadsheet import and a 30-minute handover. Standard layouts; a separate public website, bespoke code and extra configuration are quoted separately.
Madrasa — £499 setup + £59/month
One institution, up to 150 active students and 10 staff. A branded portal and registration page, standard admissions, classes and account configuration, fee records, attendance, homework and points. One clean spreadsheet import, one pre-launch review round, a 60-minute staff training session and written guidance. Includes up to 30 minutes of small configuration changes monthly, without rollover.
Tailored — from £999 setup + £99/month
A written scope for a public website, more involved migration, tailored workflows or additional development. We agree deliverables, revision rounds, training and ongoing configuration allowance before work begins. The starting price does not include unlimited custom development.
Monthly management
Every plan includes managed hosting, backups, routine maintenance and staffed support 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Support availability does not mean every issue can be resolved instantly. Response targets, backup frequency, retention, recovery arrangements and storage allowance are specified in your agreement.
Setup payments and ongoing charges
The Teacher setup is payable after scope acceptance. Madrasa setup can be split into £249.50 to start and £249.50 after the agreed setup is approved, before launch. Tailored work normally uses two 50% milestones, with larger projects agreed separately.
Monthly billing begins at launch. Your monthly price is fixed for the first 12 months; we give at least 60 days’ notice of a proposed increase after that. Monthly service is rolling with 30 days’ cancellation notice. Completed, agreed setup work remains payable. Acceptance, refund, export and deletion terms are confirmed in the written agreement.
Setup plus 12 monthly payments totals £497 for Teacher, £1,207 for Madrasa and from £2,187 for Tailored. Domains, paid mailbox subscriptions, third-party services and payment-provider fees are separate. Any applicable tax and all charges are confirmed before you accept a quote.
Work quoted separately
New modules, integrations, payment collection, WhatsApp automation, complex data cleaning, further imports and redesigns unless explicitly included in your scope. Fee records are distinct from collecting money: live payment collection requires a separately agreed, connected and tested provider.
Delivery
For standard setups, we target ten working days after receiving complete information and agreeing a start date. Tailored delivery is scoped individually. We agree the extra work before changing your package if your institution grows.
Technology and ownership
The portal is a customised Gibbon implementation. Gibbon is licensed under the GNU GPL; software notices and applicable source-code rights are preserved. Your institution’s records remain under your control. Madrasa Desk is an independent implementation service, not an official Gibbon product.
